IRMA
International Rehab and Mobility Fair
In Bremen, 1–3 June 2012.

The new rehab and mobility fair in Bremen for wheelchair users, the elderly, and other people with impaired mobility. 1–3 June 2012 in the Messe Bremen (Bremen Exhibition & Conference Centre).

Bremen is the ideal location for a new rehab and mobility fair.

  • To date, there is no comparable trade fair in northern Germany to satisfy the information needs of wheelchair users and other people with impaired mobility.
  • With its 547,000 inhabitants, Bremen is among the top ten most populated cities in Germany.
  • Bremen also has an extremely large urban catchment area: We are expecting visitors not only from the area surrounding Bremen, but also from Hamburg, Hannover, Oldenburg, Brake, Bremerhaven, Varel, Wilhelmshaven, Dortmund, and the Netherlands.
  • Since the existing trade fairs are too distant for them, many people with impaired mobility from these regions have never had the chance to visit a comparable trade fair — until now.
  • Thanks to an excellent traffic infrastructure, people with mobility impairments from a surrounding area of 200 kilometres (and more) will be able to travel to the trade fair in Bremen conveniently.

Parking is available directly on the trade fair premises, next to the exhibition halls. The central train station in Bremen is only 200 metres from the trade fair premises. Both the central station and the trade fair are, of course, wheelchair-accessible.

In addition, it takes only 20 minutes by car from the Bremen airport to reach the trade fair (12 minutes by public transport). Therefore, the new rehab and mobility fair in Bremen offers optimal conditions for reaching new customers.
